2016 Newman Association of America Conference
NINS announces the 2016 Newman Association of America Conference on Thursday, July 28 – Saturday, July 30 at Duquesne University. This year’s theme is “Newman, Tradition, and Innovation: Witness in the Contemporary World.”
Over 25 scholars will speak on many Newman topics, including keynote speaker Dr. John Crosby from Franciscan University of Steubenville, whose lecture is entitled, “Newman’s Personalism.” The National Institute for Newman Studies’ Interim Executive Director Kenneth Parker will present, “Newman’s Essay on the Development of Christian Doctrine: A New Critical Edition.”
